The beautifully manicured Kongens Have - or King's Park - is Copenhagen's oldest public park, laid out in the early 1600s by Christian IV, who used it as a vegetable garden. Today it's one of the city's best outdoor pleasure gardens, complete with flower beds, winding paths, and a series of neoclassical pavilions designed by Peter Meyn, many of which host free concerts in warm weather.
