Charting the evolution of Copenhagen from small fishing village to the present day, the Museum of Copenhagen is modest and approachable, with visual displays and interactive exhibits exploring the daily life of the city's inhabitants. The collection was recently enriched with archaeological finds unearthed during the expansion of the Metro system. Admission is free on Fridays, 40 DKK all other days. NOTE: Museum closed in current location on October 9, 2015 to move to new location in Stormgade.
