The city seafood market (Mercado de Mariscos) is open daily 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. except the third Monday each month. On the bay near Casco Viejo, it has stalls on the first floor and a modest restaurant upstairs. Outside between the market and pier is a concentration of open-air stalls serving up fresh ceviche.
